Director/Scriptwriter Susanne Bier’s cinemagraphic carrier spans almost 20 years, during which time she has proven to be one of the most influential Danish filmmakers of her time. Connected to the hyper-realistic Dogme school of filmmaking, Bier is an expert in capturing the complexity of human behaviour. Moving into the international film scene after her Oscar nomination for After The Wedding, Bier continues to be one of the more bold directors in recent film history.

The ICA is hosting a masterclass and talk with Susanne Bier this month, where the audience is invited to attend an in depth conversation about one of Europe’s most accomplished and adventurous film figures.
